Test Print

When an image has been chosen for printing a series of test strips will be made to determine exposures and contrast grades. (A red safelight must be used from now on till the print is fixed). The negative chosen is placed into a enlarger, this projects the image down onto the photographic (light sensitive) paper to produce the basic image.
After the basic exposure times and grades have been calculated the image can then be worked creatively with various techniques to produce the desired print.
